Admissions Policy If you are interested in enrolling your child at Trinity Christian Academy please call our school office at (225) 654-4964 for admissions instructions. Trinity Christian Academy is a college preparatory school.
All new families are required to be interviewed. The Administration reviews all applications and determines if the student meets the requirements and standards for enrollment at Trinity.

A re-enrollment period for existing students is held during the spring semester. Registration forms and fees must be returned by the last day of the registration period. This deadline is important to determine places available when registration is opened to new students.
Prospective students should attend the interview with parents.
Copies of the most recent report card and/or high school transcript, a birth certificate and an immunization records must be submitted at this time.
All necessary registration forms must be completed.
Appropriate fees must be paid to complete the registration.
The social security number of the prospective student is requested to be included in the application
Health Requirements – All students entering school must provide a record of all immunizations, special health needs, such as allergies to foods or to bee or wasp stings, diabetes, kidney problems, severe headaches, etc.
Testing in basic areas will be required for new students in grades 6-12.
All first-time students with disciplinary records are subject to a 9-week probationary period.
Important Note for Immunization You must provide the school with an up-to-date immunization card that is marked complete and signed, or other medical records indicating the child has received at least four (4) DTP/TD vaccines and three (3) Polio vaccines including last doses of DTP/TD and Polio vaccines were received at age four (4) or later, and one (1) dose of the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine after the first birthday.
Credit Acceptance – Credits earned at another school prior to entering must be verified by an official school transcript from the student's last school (see handbook relating to credit transfers from homeschools or non-approved private schools.)
A student who has deficiencies and wishes to catch up, may attend summer school to make up these deficiencies before the school year begins.
