Approved Courses
As a state-approved private school, we offer courses that provide high school credit that support the State Content Standards Initiatives. As stated in Bulletin 741 [pdf], all distance education must comply with the policies set by BESE.
Course List
We offer all required core courses in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies.
Electives include Spanish I/II, Health, PE, Quest for Success, WBSL
Exams
Students are required to take their exam with a proctor. Our school uses Proctorio as our distance learning proctor.
How does this work?
Your student login will give you complete online access to course materials - everything you need to be an effective student. To get enrolled, you must first complete the online enrollment application. When we receive your completed application, your enrollment will begin when you receive your login information via email. Lesson materials will be available online once your signed approval form has been received. All coursework is submitted online unless other arrangements for attendance are made. Parents are provided an login to observe a student's progress through the course.

ENROLL
ONLINE ENROLLMENT FORM
Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year. You can begin the application process by clicking ENROLL. You can also call (225) 228-0750 or email [email protected] to assist your child's enrollment at any time.
Required documents to enroll for homeschooling Grades 7-12:
- Copy of Student's official Birth Certificate and Social Security Card/Number
- Immunization Records and Health Form
- Last Report Card
- State Homeschool Approval Letter (if applicable)
- High School Transcript (if you have completed any high school credits)
- Signed Records Request (if you were last enrolled in a public or private school)
- Copy of High School Transcript
If your children are currently homeschooled, please complete a Prior Academic History Form to record what courses were completed through the homeschool curriculum.
Important Note for Homeschoolers Who Participant in the Louisiana Home Study Program: TCA requires students who were previously (or who are currently being) homeschooled to submit their current approved Home Study Application or letter from the State of Louisiana Department of Education.
